Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load/unload shipments accurately and safely
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and report maintenance needs promptly
- Support cross-functional departments during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or logistics experience
- Ability to work flexible weekends and overtime shifts
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Physical stamina to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and operate machinery for extended periods
