Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Verify inventory counts and accurately update warehouse management systems (WMS) for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness and identify any potential maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of orders and fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including sorting, tagging, and staging pallets as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFL) or valid license required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts and occasional holidays.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
