Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within warehouse and distribution centers
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while handling hazardous materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock management processes
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Operate other warehouse equipment as needed (pallet jacks, order pickers)
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and overtime
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory and documentation tasks
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Valid government-issued photo ID and clean background check
