Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse efficiency during weekend operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols including PPE usage and hazard communication
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
- Support cross-functional teams during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with at least 1 year of recent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory system navigation
- Reliable transportation and consistent weekend availability
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions (climate-controlled warehouse)
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics environment preferred
