Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials in warehouse environments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using digital scanning systems and warehouse management software
- Inspect and perform basic preventative maintenance on material handling equipment daily
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Manage weekend shift priorities while meeting productivity and quality standards
- Document operational activities and report equipment malfunctions promptly
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Strong attention to detail with basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) and overtime as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Proficiency with digital inventory systems and RF scanning technology preferred
