Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within warehouse facilities
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory through systematic scanning, counting, and documentation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain organized storage and loading dock operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols while handling hazardous materials and operating heavy machinery
- Support shipping/receiving activities including palletizing, stacking, and unloading trucks
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or willingness to obtain certification
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts in warehouse environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for inventory management
- Flexibility to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
