Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to safely move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company material handling guidelines
- Manage inventory counts and document material movements in warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows and meet daily targets
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper storage of hazardous materials
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient in warehouse inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
