Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently in warehouse environments
- Load/unload freight using proper rigging techniques and weight distribution protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records via RF scanners and digital tracking systems
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflow
- Support year-round inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within first week)
- Minimum 1 year of industrial forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness in fast-paced settings
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including weekends)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Preferred: Experience with narrow-aisle reach trucks or order pickers
