Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Verify inventory counts and documentation to maintain accurate warehouse records
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily targets
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through company training)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts or similar equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory management and documentation
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
