Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse environment
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or ability to obtain within first week)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Preferred: Experience with pallet jacks and order picking systems
