Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and documentation systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational guidelines
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Organize and maintain clean, hazard-free work zones throughout the facility
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory reconciliation activities
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., RF scanners)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
