Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory in a 150,000 sq ft warehouse
- Maintain accurate digital records of material movements using warehouse management systems
- Perform daily forklift safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company inventory control procedures
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counting processes
- Train new hires on forklift operation and warehouse safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license
- Minimum 2 years of industrial forklift experience
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
