Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanning technology
- Inspect equipment pre-shift and report maintenance needs immediately
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading dock operations
- Prepare shipping/receiving documentation with zero tolerance for errors
- Support cross-training in other warehouse functions as needed
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Availability for flexible shifts (including weekends during peak seasons)
