Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized goods efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanning technology
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre-shift equipment inspections
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflow
- Load/untract trailers using dock equipment and maintain organized staging areas
- Complete daily maintenance logs and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Train new hires on proper forklift operation procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (must provide upon hire)
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail with zero-tolerance for safety violations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
- Pass background check and drug screening
