Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (Reach Trucks, Pallet Jacks) to move, load, and unload materials safely.
- Inspect equipment before and after shifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Package and prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse floor and equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) required; willing to train for Class A if applicable.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license (not always required for indoor roles, but preferred).
