Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in cycle counting as required.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to coordinate logistics.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
