As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring that inventory is moved, stored, and tracked accurately. We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a safe workplace.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Ensure all inventory is organized, stacked, and labeled correctly for easy retrieval.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed by management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status and potential issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
