Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team to optimize warehouse workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times
- Document material movements and maintain accurate inventory records
- Train on new equipment and processes as technology evolves
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation to Chicago facility
