Responsibilities
- Safe Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks while maintaining strict safety standards and product integrity.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid, current Forklift Operator License (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Availability: Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as required by business needs.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
