Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload pallets and materials safely
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations
- Assist in organizing and maintaining clean, organized storage areas
- Support shipping/receiving processes as needed
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 7 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience in warehouse/industrial settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
