Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move inventory efficiently.
- Load and Unload Cargo: Perform safe and efficient loading and unloading of trucks and shipping containers.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must hold a current forklift operator license (training available for entry-level candidates).
- High School Diploma: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight warehouse spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and order processing.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
