Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and organize inventory efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trains, or other vehicles safely and accurately.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Document inventory movements and verify stock counts using handheld scanners.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure smooth daily operations and meet production targets.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class I, II, or III) is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Valid driver’s license (Class C) is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (warehouses can be cold or hot).
