Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, transport, and store materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure machinery is in proper working order.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure proper placement of stock in designated storage zones using RF scanners.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline shipping and receiving processes and meet daily production targets.
- Document daily activities and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Must possess a valid, unexpired forklift license or card).
- 1-3 years of previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
