Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely drive and operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and ensure accurate stock levels by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secure and organized.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records of daily operations, including daily checklists and incident reports.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL not required but preferred).
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening as part of our safety protocol.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and ensure accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a consistent work history.
