Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers and trucks in accordance with weight limits and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanners and computer systems.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Valid Driver's License required.
