Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse/distribution centers
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on equipment (batteries, hydraulics)
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization standards
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Complete daily inspection logs and incident reports
- Assist in unloading inbound shipments and preparing outbound orders
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse/logistics
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Valid NC driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
