Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting maintenance needs promptly
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and company inventory procedures
- Load/unload trucks using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation in warehouse management system
- Collaborate with team to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience in warehouse or logistics setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
