Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of cargo to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock levels regularly.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent workplace accidents.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and shipping documents.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
