Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Manage inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse documentation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and productivity
- Operate material handling equipment in climate-controlled and outdoor environments
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to meet daily targets
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory management and documentation
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime as required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
- Experience in warehouse/distribution environments a plus
