Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Inspect equipment daily for safety issues and report any malfunctions to the maintenance department immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas to optimize warehouse flow.
- Perform daily cleaning and organization of the work area to maintain a professional standard.
- Assist with quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards before shipping.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA) with valid license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and hazard communication.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in inventory software or handheld scanners.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
