Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring cargo is secured and organized.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately using a warehouse management system (WMS).
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of shipping and receiving orders.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and standard operating procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
