Responsibilities
- Operate Forklifts: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets, racks, and heavy materials throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count and record inventory levels, ensuring stock accuracy using scanning equipment.
- Material Handling: Load and unload shipments from delivery trucks and arrange them in designated storage areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of obstructions to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
