Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating stock logs in our management system.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Organize warehouse storage areas to ensure efficient retrieval and reduce clutter.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including pallet building and debris removal.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning software.
