Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in proper working order and report any defects immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company housekeeping standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and verifying stock accuracy against warehouse records.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and meet daily production targets.
- Load and unload freight from trucks using proper equipment and securing methods.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, or similar).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and ticket verification.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
