Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and stock organization to maintain optimal warehouse flow.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with precision and speed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Current and valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFP/CFII) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- License: Valid Driver’s License (Class B or CDL not required but preferred).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Availability: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
