Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down/stand-up) to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse environments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist in warehouse organization and cleanliness maintenance
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 1+ years of warehouse/forklift experience in fast-paced environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
- Forklift certifications (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.) highly desirable
