Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues immediately
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and maintain accurate stock rotation systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces to prevent accidents
- Assist in physical inventory audits and documentation processes
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or willingness to obtain within 7 days
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience in fast-paced environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- Reliable transportation and punctuality record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
