Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized materials in warehouse settings
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure OSHA compliance
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Maintain accurate documentation of material movements and inventory counts
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and housekeeping standards
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
