Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated equipment and forklifts in temperature-controlled environments
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels using warehouse management systems
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks while maintaining product integrity
- Implement and follow food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs accurately
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F-40°F) for extended periods
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent required
