Responsibilities
- Safe Handling: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Inventory Control: Organize and stock inventory on shelves and racks, maintaining accurate stock levels and organization.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect goods for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before storage or shipping.
- Temperature Compliance: Regularly check and record temperature logs to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Palletizing: Wrap and secure pallets for safe transport and storage.
- Safety Adherence: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or cold storage environment is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a reliable means of transportation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, organization, and orderliness.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
