Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled storage areas
- Inspect and handle perishable goods following food safety protocols
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation using WMS systems
- Sanitize equipment and storage spaces according to FDA standards
- Collaborate with team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Complete daily safety checklists and report equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in cold environments
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and food safety knowledge
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
