Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products throughout the facility
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Support inventory control through cycle counts and documentation
- Keep work areas organized and free of safety hazards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10-hour preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
