Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to meet daily production and shipping targets
- Follow strict safety protocols including proper stacking, load balancing, and hazard awareness
- Assist with inventory management and cycle count procedures
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and report equipment malfunctions
- Support cross-functional operations in fast-paced distribution environments
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with 2+ years of recent experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Experience with inventory management systems (WMS) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
