Job Summary
As a Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain process. You will be responsible for retrieving items from inventory, accurately packaging them, and preparing them for shipment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders with 99.9% accuracy using handheld scanners and RF devices.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packaging to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Label packages correctly according to shipping guidelines and carrier requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to adhere to safety regulations and SOPs.
- Operate standard warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Report inventory discrepancies or safety hazards immediately to the Shift Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
