Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 8-12 warehouse staff on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems using WMS software
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe working environment
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely shipping and receiving
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, reach trucks)
- Proficiency in WMS systems and inventory management software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
