Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Define the high-level technical vision for the 2026 Horizon initiative, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure microservices architectures capable of handling quantum-ready workloads.
- Emerging Tech Integration: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., neuromorphic computing, advanced LLMs) into our existing infrastructure.
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and guide the technical strategy of the Core Infrastructure team.
- Performance Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in system latency, throughput, and energy efficiency for global data centers.
- Roadmap Execution: Collaborate with product managers to translate futuristic concepts into executable development roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or principal engineer role.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Cloud Native technologies (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP), distributed systems, and high-performance computing.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Rust, or Go, with a strong understanding of low-latency systems.
- Future-Ready Mindset: Demonstrated ability to research and prototype with bleeding-edge technologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
