Responsibilities
- Architect and implement forward-thinking technology roadmaps for 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype systems for emerging tech domains
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation with strategic business objectives
- Present findings and recommendations to investors and industry stakeholders
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global tech ecosystem analysis
- Drive patent development for novel technological solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology R&D with 5+ years in strategic innovation roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercially successful tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and investors
- Certification in emerging technologies or futures forecasting preferred
