Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap for emerging domains (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor partnerships for future tech prototyping
- Drive adoption of sustainable technology practices across all product lines
- Represent company at global tech forums and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Executive-level experience with Fortune 500 or Silicon Valley scale-ups
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Technology Readiness Levels)
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams and budgets over $3M
