Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ tech roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI, IoT, and quantum systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Partner with VPs of Innovation to secure $10M+ R&D budgets
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Author thought leadership pieces on tech's societal impact
- Oversee patent portfolios and IP strategy for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching $5M+ tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published author or conference speaker on future tech topics
- Strong financial modeling skills for ROI projection
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ members
