Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (synthetic biology, quantum cryptography)
- Design future-proof architecture for scalable distributed systems
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong familiarity with ISO 20700 and IEEE ethics frameworks
- Experience scaling tech teams from 50 to 500+ professionals
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Forecasting
